After breakfast, our company guide/driver will pick and brief you about the tour. Then embark on a journey to the west with a brief stopover at the equator for a coffee and craft shopping. Continue to the park through Nshara gate, check in and have lunch at a lodge. After lunch, around 2:30 PM, we shall take a boat on Lake Mburo for close range views of hippos and buffaloes and more. In the evening, we shall continue this adventure with a game drive for wildlife, look out for elands, warthogs, buffaloes, zebras, bush bucks, lions, leopards, giraffes and more. Have an early morning breakfast and take a morning game walk. This is the major highlight of the trip because Lake Mburo happens to be the only national park where you can have a guided nature walk, it’s an experience not to miss. On this 2 hours walk, get the opportunity to spot wildlife like many bird species, hyenas and hippos as they return to the lake. After the nature walk, check out of the lodge and depart for Bwindi National park with lunch enroute. Arrive, check in at the hotel and relax from the journey. Harte Beests – Lake Mburo National Park

After an early breakfast, we head to the Uganda Wildlife Authority headquarters at Buhoma. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is home to the largest number of habituated mountain gorilla families. After a short briefing by the guides, we proceed through the dense forest to track these endangered animals depending on where they built their nest the previous night. Tracking can take between 1 and 3 hours. For conservation purposes, time allowed with these gentle, great apes Gorillas is 1 hour. For many visitors, this is the wildlife highlight of their trip. Enjoy the beauty and freshness of the forest, home to more than half of the world’s mountain gorillas. After lunch, we shall go for a community/cultural walk in the Batwa people, enjoy activities like cultural dances, farming, crafts making, black smiths and meet traditional healers. Arrive just in time for lunch and check in at the lodge. After lunch, we head for an evening game drive in the Mweya peninsular to view the park’s diverse eco-system and abundant wildlife. Enjoy sights of numerous wild animals like the lions, antelopes, Uganda Kobs, hyenas, elephants, topis, buffaloes and much more. We could possibly visit Lake Katwe town to check out salt mining activities and the attractively displayed crater lakes. Later return to the lodge. Uganda Kob – Queen Elizabeth National Park

Have an early morning game drive to the Uganda Kobs’ mating grounds and spectacular sights of tree climbing Lions, Elephants, Uganda Kobs, Buffaloes, Warthogs, topis and Bushbucks and much more. Early morning game drives are such a perfect time to spot nocturnal animals before they return to their hide outs. The end of this drive leads back to the lodge for relaxation and refreshment.
After lunch, we will then hope onto a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel at 3.00 pm. Kazinga channel is a natural strip that connects Lake Albert to Lake George. On the cruise abundant bird species are sighted and perhaps the highest concentration of hippos, crocodiles, elephants and more. Female Lion – Queen Elizabeth National Park

At 7: 00 am after breakfast, we depart about 8:00 am to Kibale forest National Park through the foothills of Mt.Rwenzori ranges. We will arrive just time for lunch, check-in at the lodge. Kibale National Park. Kibale forest national Park is home to the highest concentration of primates in East Africa. Currently, this park offers the best chimpanzee trekking expeditions in Uganda.
After lunch, you can choose to rest and prepare for chimp trekking the next day or take a range of (optional- extra charges) activities like Hiking/Nature walks, birding and cultural encounters, in the Kayanchu/Magombe wetlands. Joined by a local guide, enjoy the fresh vegetation and bird species. Income from this activity is invested in education, health, sanitation and improving the livelihood of local residents. Chimpanzee – Kibale Forest National Park

After an early breakfast, report for briefing at the park headquarters at 8:00hrs. Thereafter, we set off for chimp trekking in Kanyanchu for approximately 2 to 5 hours depending on where the chimpanzees have decided to habit. Look out for more primates like the olive baboons, the rare L’Hoest’s, golden monkeys, grey cheeked mangabey, colubus red, blue, black, white monkeys and also a variety of birds, forest elephants and giant hogs.
In the afternoon, have lunch and go for a guided nature walk to the Bigodi swamps. Enjoy birdwatching, butterfly viewing, wild plants and colourful flowers. Birds sighted here include: Joyful and Cabanis Greenbuls, Dusky Long-tailed Cuckoo, Black-faced Rufous Warbler, Red-tailed Bristlebill, Bocage’s Bush-shrike, Toro Olive and Cameroon Sombre Greenbuls, Green Twinspot, Brown and more. Note that this visit enables tourists to give back to the community yet enjoy the nature offered by the swamp.
